MINUTES

The regular monthly meeting of the Evansville Water & Light Committee was held on January 31, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. at the Evansville Utility Shop.



ROLL CALL IN ATTENDANCE

John Sornson, Alderperson Scott George, Superintendent
John Rasmussen, Foreman
Eric Jepperson, City Finance Director
Sandy Decker, Mayor
Dan Wietecha, City Administrator

Alderperson Wessels called the meeting of the City of Evansville Water & Light Committee to order at 6:32 p.m.

Motion by Alderperson Wessels, seconded by Alderperson Sornson, to approve the December 27, 2006 minutes of the Water and Light Committee as printed. Motion carried.

Citizen Concerns
None.

Discussion on energy conservation assistance to Pleasant Prairie Greenhouse. Motion by Alderperson Sornson, seconded by Alderperson Wessels, to approve a payment of $10,000 to Pleasant Prairie Greenhouse.

Discussion of Main Street construction project. No action taken.

Discussion of bids for substation transformer. No bid met the criteria. Project will need to be re-bid. No action taken.

Committee Reports – Superintendent Scott George
Discussion of selling a used Water & Light utility pick up truck. Utility will advertise for bids at a future date. No action taken.
