Members Present Tom Cothard Chair, John Sornson and Barb Jacobson

Staff: Scott George Superintendent, John Rasmussen foreman

Also present were: Matt Gabota

1. Chairperson Cothard called the meeting to order at 6:302P.M.

2. Motion by Sornson 2nd by Jacobson to approve the August 29, 2007 Water & Light Minutes with one change motion carried 3-0

3. Citizens concerns Matt Gaboda read a letter into the minutes stating his view against wind turbines in Union Township. See attached file.

4. Committee Reports – Chairman Cothard None

5. Committee Reports - Supt. Scott George: (1) Scott asked about the cities plan to reinstall the old street lights taken down from uptown and the possibility of installing street lights on Co. Rd. M no action was taken. (2) Scott noted that John Rasmussen is planning to retire at the end of the year and his job would be posted soon.

6. Motion by Cothard 2nd by Sornson to approve change order no. 1 in the amount of $25,678.00 for substation construction Motion carried 3-0 on voice vote

7. There was no other legal action to come before the committee
8. Motion to adjourn by Cothard 2nd by Jacobson at 7:30 P.M. Passed 3-0
