MINUTES

Mayor Decker called the meeting to order at 7:45 AM. Present were: Mayor Decker and Alderpersons Roberts, Hammann, Cothard, Juergens, Wyse, Wessels, Braunschweig, and Sornson. Staff present: Mark Kopp, City Attorney; and Stephen Hintz, consultant from Public Administration Associates, LLC.

This special meeting was called so that the Common Council could interview the candidates for the city administrator position.

Approval of Agenda
Motion by Braunschweig, seconded by Roberts, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.

Minutes
Motion by Cothard, seconded by Roberts, to defer the reading of the minutes of the meeting for November 11, 2006 until the next regular Common Council meeting on November 14, 2006. Motion carried.

Citizen appearances - None

Communications and Recommendations from the Mayor
Motion by Hammann, seconded by Braunschweig, to approve the Mayoral Proclamation congratulating Oak Grove Church on their 150th anniversary. Motion carried.

Closed Session
Motion by Wessels, seconded by Roberts, to convene in closed session pursuant to Sec. 19.85(1)(c), Wis. Stats., considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governing body has jurisdiction or authority, and will not reconvene in open session. Motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote at 8:00 AM.

Adjournment
Motion by Hammann, seconded by Braunschweig, to adjourn the meeting at 2:15 PM. Motion carried.
